Speech Title: Collaborative vehicle-edge-cloud platform and edge computing based driving safety monitoring

Abstract: In this presentation, we first explain the design of a road-side side in-memory data-streaming database for the vehicle-road collaboration edge cloud platform. Then, we propose an effective edge-computing based risk warning system using connected and automated vehicles (CAV) motion monitoring data. Compared with data sensed by a single vehicle only, the vehicle-to-everything (V2X) interconnection of vehicle-to-everything (CAV) system directly collects the motion data of connected and automated vehicles, which makes it easier to calculate the risk of each vehicle in an integrated manner and produces a more superior performance.

Speech Title: Reinforcement Learning for Autonomous Decision-making and Human-machine Cooperation of Intelligent Vehicles

Abstract: This talk analyzed the technical requirements of autonomous decision-making and human-machine cooperative control of intelligent vehicles. Some recent advances in high-efficient reinforcement learning algorithms are reported. Then, the novel applications of reinforcement learning methods in autonomous decision-making and motion planning of intelligent vehicles in complex environments are introduced. From the perspective of human-machine cooperation, online reinforcement learning algorithms are also applied in human-machine shared control for performance enhancement of intelligent vehicles.
